Book Review – Rodeo Rocky From The Horses of Half Moon Ranch Series

Jenny Oldfield has done it again, she has a way of writing the perfect dream for a young girl.  Kirstie Scott is back at it again with an adventure with a wild horse.   I have to say though, the one thing that the riding instructor and Mother in me had a bit of a hard time holding back the lecture in my head I would have for having a young girl with a wild stallion!  But, it is a romantic notion and I had to just let my guard down and enjoy.  Enjoy I did, any girl would enjoy Kirstie’s adventures with Rocky.  He has a rough start to what turns out to be quite an adventure.

I think what I like the best about Kirstie is her tenacity.  She loves horses and will do whatever it takes to help them.  I see a lot of myself when I was a child in her because she never gives up on her dream.  I give this book two thumbs up.

We will be doing another give away to two lucky blog readers for this second book in the series of The Horses of Half Moon Ranch so be sure and stay tuned for details!

If you would like to purchase Rodeo Rocky or Wild Horses (the first book in the series) for any of the horse crazy girls on your Christmas list you can do so HERE.   I will definitely be looking forward to the rest of the books in the series.
