Quote of The Day

When teaching horses, it is always easier to fix problems at the first sign of difficulty. I am sure you know that horses test us.  They test us five times for every one time that we are aware of.  If we miss the test, there is no make-up date.  If we do not see the test or if we ignore the test, the same thing happens . . . we lose ground. If we lose enough ground, the relationship will fall out from under us and we will be at the mercy of our horse’s instincts.

I’d really like Fredi to meet him. He lives like 40 minutes or so from here, and they share a lot of the same training philosophies… He seems like a very cool guy.

Wowsers!! That’s really close! I’d love to meet him as well! The online classes I’m taking are through Iyuptala…and I’m hoping to be a regional advisor by the end of 2010…*fingers crossed*! I’ve purchased a couple of his ebooks and they’ve helped out tremendously…not only with Diago…or Flash…but every horse…including those fearful, “aggressive”, etc horses…I’ve had the pleasure of meeting since reading that material!! I have an incredible amount of respect for him and his training methods!! He’s AWESOME!! :)
