Horse Quote of The Day – Julie Goodnight

Julie Goodnight

“There are many skills and maneuvers that people tend to classify as either Western or English.  But the truth is horses are horses – their balance is the same, the way they move and the way in which the rider uses the aids for cueing are the same.  The appearance of your clothes and tack doesn’t really change that.” ~ Julie Goodnight

Yeah I agree! That’s why riders should know the natural horsemanship training to perform well together with his or her horse.

  2. No doubt Deanna! I’d go a step further and say that most horses, regardless of final discipline, would benefit from a series of core training that simply teaches them collection and control. Broke is broke.
