Well, the weather outside is completely awful in most parts of the country so it’s a great time to do show season prep that doesn’t involve your horse. We groom our horse’s to perfection, it is also important to groom ourselves on show days.

I wear make up every day. I don’t think everyone needs to, but I know it makes me look my best. When I go into the show ring it helps that I already know how to apply it. I don’t wear my make up too much differently when showing than I do at home, I just wear a bit more. I feel it helps me have a more professional and polished look. Whatever you can do to get an edge over the competition, do it.
